It’s OK to be sad about not coming to church and to miss the contact with our community. We can worship and pray wherever we are, and we’ve put together a list of resources to help.
Church of England
This has links to Morning, Evening and Night Prayer. The readings and psalms change every day.
There is a free app you can download too from the Apple Store or Google Play Store – it’s called Daily Prayer, published by Aimer Media.
The Ordinary Office – audio and video versions
The Examen is a way of reflecting on the day that has passed. There’s a simple way using your fingers as a prompt (maybe one to try once you’ve washed your hands!)
This is a great collection of hymns played on the piano with lyrics if you like to sing along.

You do need to sign up for a free account.
Don’t forget we are on Facebook; we’ll be adding sermons and updates there so you can stay connected.
If you are unwell and cannot receive visitors, it’s understandable you may miss the Eucharist. There is a short Act of Spiritual Communion which, whilst it doesn’t replace actual bread and wine, may help you feel closer to Christ.
If you’re reading this on behalf of someone with no internet access, there is a printed booklet available which we can deliver.
Remember: if you’re on your own, let us know and we can make sure we stay in contact.
