You will see in our mission statement that St Peter’s is dedicated to serving the parish community, our village of Coggeshall and the world around us. You may also be aware of the many services we provide and support:
Pastoral Care which covers mainly the parish but also local hospitals and nursing homes. We support a number of local and international charities including:
Coggeshall Youth Project
Colchester Soup Run for the Homeless
Macmillan Cancer Care
Neonatal Baby Unit, Compassion International
Orphanage in South Africa
The Children’s Society
Winston’s Wish Children’s Bereavement Charity
We try wherever to share our blessings.
What you may not know is that we receive no income from the government; we are a registered charity and all income is raised by ourselves. It costs £400.00 per day to maintain this beautiful Church and its ministry each year.
If you feel you would like to help St. Peter’s, please leave a donation at the reception desk. If you are a tax payer, please also consider giving a donation in the Gift Aid envelope; this doesn’t cost you anything, but it really does help St. Peter’s in real terms. Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs will add an extra 25p to every £1 you give to St. Peter’s.
